Taipei 101

Taipei 101 was considered as the “World’s Tallest Building” for several years up until 2011, and
was also considered as the “World’s Tallest Green Building.” Measuring 508 meters in height,
it stands out above the city and is designed to look like a giant bamboo stalk.

Tickets are sold on the 5th level of the building’s shopping mall. Observatory decks are located
on the 88th and 89th floors and an outdoor deck on the 91 st occasionally accessible depending on
the weather. A gold-colored iron wind damper can be noticed making the tower withstand
typhoons and earthquakes.

The food court is located in the basement of the building while the first five-level feature Taipei
101’s luxurious malls.
